    Carb change need to change Jetting?

    Hey guys im going to be putting 40 MM Keihn carbs on my 98 SLXH which I believe has 38 MM carbs. I know its the same type mount as the 38s actually have a reduction within the carb my question being, do I need to rejet the 40 mm keihens or just leave them as is?

    Do you know what jetting is currently in those 40mm Keihin carbs?

    The 98 SLXH uses the 40mm carbs with accel pump according to the Polaris manual. Probably no reason to swap at all. If you feel the need to do it, it should just be a straight jet swap.

    slxh had stock 40mm keihins.look in the tech section for the stock slxh jetting.

    you mean the manuals that show the low and mid jets in reverse order??

    Alright, thanks guys Zigler told me the SLXH used 38's the reason im thinking of swapping is so I dont have to deal with a rebuild, I mean we can go threw them bryan and if you think they are good ill keep my new carbs for later.
