Today was not that bad but the water temp was at 38. I do not have the proper attire for that temp

    Trust me, I was tempted.

I also am waiting. I got a 2012 fx sho cruiser. The real challenge is the break in. I need to show restraint to get her broke in nice and slow. It's wont be long now. This time period has been spent getting my plates for the new trailer. Stickers for the boat (Id & tags) put on and such. Finding life jackets, getting fluid film so all is coated before any water. All the new toys for my new ski. I'm looking at a cooler for beer, i mean coke ect. Use this time to outfit your ski for your intended use.

It was beautiful outside 75 f, the water temp not so nice but the ski needed to be broke in. So after some shrinkage at the dock I put 1.8 hours on the new ski. I started in L mode(learn). The ski 2012 fx sho ran like new, very forgiving in learn mode. This kept me from being mean to her. Learn mode kept me at or below 5500 rpm(40-+mph). Perfect for the 1.5 hour break in. After that I was at the dock trying to get the ski in normal mode. I'm not sure how I got it out of learn mode but I did. Pushing the fob like crazy. The ski in regular mode is an animal. Reminds me of my Corvette. The pull brought a big smile to my face. I can see throwing my wife off the back, non-intensionally of course. The L mode would be good for cruising with the family. Normal mode for fun. Thanks Yamaha...
