    My new best speed

    Hey guys,
First of all I would like to say thanks to Jim, Fernando, Leo, Mtrager and the rest of the forum members for all the information. This is a great forum.
This new speed did not come easy as well as you guys already know. I still have some small work to do to get more mph. Still looking forward to getting my ass handed to me from all of the Tampa and Orlando boyz.

    05 Gpr 1300
    74 degrees
    Water temp 65 degrees
    slight chop
    800 grate
    [B]the package
    Jims FF plate
    non-ported
74.3, speed coming very soon 75.0

PS. Jim's FF plate is awesome. The new mod is a must!!!

Awesome, bro! I never get tired of the sensation of speed when I'm on my ski. 70 is just as good as 80 as far as I'm concerned.

    Thanks guys.
All of this hard work is now starting to pay off. I have been at 70 for 6 months. I went from 72.2 to 74.3 with two simple bolt on parts. My grate was trashed (my mistake) and I gained .7 by switching back to stock tabs. My goal is to do this with a 1200 grate and get faster. The water here can get rough and is unpredictable. I'm looking forward to the day I can look back on this thread and laugh about how slow I used to be.
