    SC Washer I.D.

    Hey GH,

I am pulling two chargers this week from an '04 and '05, and am wondering if you guys can help identify if they are the original ceramic washers or have been replaced.

Thanks for any and all feedback!

Here are some pics of the '05 (66hrs):

Those are the spring washers. The ceramic washers are on top and bottom of the gear. And it looks like you have ceramics on there.

On my 06 RXT mine looked a little grayer, but take it a part and put them to the magnet test.

no because the magnet would be drawn to the metal on either side of the ceramic washer leading him to believe they were metal.

    FYI those are ceramic washers

Did you check the slipping moment? Mine was a lot lower than spec with the ceramics when i took it apart. I did the whole rebuild kit on mine after i found this, shaft and all so that next time i can just get a refresh kit...
