Just got my first jet ski

Finally got my first just ski this weekend. It's a red 2003 seadoo gtx supercharged with 91 hours. The previous owner told me he just had the supercharged rebuilt, I also went ahead and replaced the plugs and changed the oil. Now I'm wondering how I could remove the old gas because I don't know how long it's been in there, will simply sticking a siphon hose in threw where I add gas work on this model?

Get a battery operated kerosene pump, walmart sells them for < 10$ Then remove the fill hose at the top of the tank. Then simply pump the gas into a container. I run the old gas in my vehicles by mixing a little old gas with a lot of fresh gas.

Congrats. Make sure that oil is right in the middle of the safe marks on the dipstick. Trust me got mine last year nothing but problems if to much oil.

Mines is just about to the middle mark, btw I got the seadoo for 3100 off Craigslist, is that a good deal? The paint looks great still and the inside of the hull looks very clean.

I personally think its a good deal. Any cavitation problems? When I got mine oil was overfilled. Fouled out 2 of the plugs while beating it. Sucked oil out until in safe zone and later fouled out one plug. Removed more until it was at half on stick and rode super hard trying to foul up something. It was all good. Of course learned about the half way up on dipstick on here.

Nope the oil wasnt overfilled or anyhting, it was spot on in the middle of the dipstick. After changing the oil its maybe at the 60% mark on the dipstick is that fine.
