    Skat Trak nose cone.

I picked up a Skat Trak prop for my buddy's FZS. What is required for a nose cone and where can I get one? I tried looking in the online store here and couldn't find one.

I've never used mine. Not sure how much it helps performance wise. I believe you can order them from Impros.

They're ridiculously expensive. I ordered a couple from Impros while he had one of my props thinking they would be $10-15 like the Solas cones. If I remember right he charged me $48/ea for them. Like the others said, you don't really need to use it, but if your buddy still wants one you might try posting a WTB in the classifieds first.

Brand new and what they look like after 6 months of use. Pain in ass to get off. I stopped using them. Impros wants $29.99+shipping for them. If you really want to run one. You can have my used cone for free. Nothing wrong with it but the paint chipped off.

I don't run a nose cone either. I toss them in the garbage when they come with a new impeller

Is this true for the solas props also?
