    Removing the fuel assembly.

Hi I'm Chris, I'm new to the site, and I called myself looking, but I can't find instructions or a video on how to remove the fuel assembly from the tank on my 96 slt 780.
It doesn't seem to have the clearance it needs to come out with the fuel tank in place. I also cant see or find the bolts that are holding the tank in place. I just bought this ski and it has the flashing light and low fuel on the display and it's full of gas so I was going to replace the float as I've read thats normally the problem. Just need some guidance on how to remove either remove the assembly with tank in place or unbolt tank. Thanks in advance.

If i've missed the thread where this is posted already a point in the correct direction would also be appreciated.

There are round shaped recesses in the sides of the tank. Find those and the bolts will be at the bottom of them. Unbolt the tank and you can slide it around, probably bringing it forward into the hood opening to remove the sender. You will also have to remove the fill pipe to be able to move the tank. There are 4 flanged bushings that go in the holes in the tank and then the bolts go through those bushings. Adhere those to the tank somehow to make it easier to get the tank back into place.
