    SL 750 crank rebuild

I was thinking of having Sharps rebuild my crankshaft for $175 + parts. Is that the best way to go?

I'm having them do mine right now. I've heard great things about them. With the parts, it's $575 total and that includes trued and welded which is what you want.

Polaaron, WELCOME to the green Hulk Forums!!!!

Good choice, you also have Crank Works, TDR and a few others out there. Let us know who you wind up using.

No go on TDR, they stopped machining services. They only sell parts now.

WOW Thanks for the info, I didn't know they already killed their crank services.

I called a few days too late. I was going to have TDR do mine, but was informed the guy was leaving and they had no intentions of doing service work anymore.

I'm pretty sure Jay has Sharp's do his cranks.
They have been busy as the snow has finally fallen.
