    Question tool for installing exhaust strap?

    What is the best tool to install the strap over the exhaust?

    If i remember correctly last time i had a long screwdriver type that had a fork shape.... no idea what it is called and cant find mine

    I bought a pair of 24" screwdrivers from Harbor Freight, I used a file and notched the flat blade of one and VIOLA! cheap tool!

    use a heat gun to soften the strap, make sure you don't melt the strap, then pull on it and it should be easy that way. Once it cools, it will tighten back up.

    this,but i did it with those long pry-bars and i spray wd40 or what ever spray lube on the waterbox under the strap.
