    Best Musclecraft Combination?

    Hello,

Looking to purchase two muscle craft for this summer but I DO NOT want two of the same PWC and I really think I want them to be from two different manufactures to mix it up a little. I'm not really a "brand loyalist" as I've previously had both a 99 Kawa Ultra 150 and 2004 RXP but I've been out of the PWC game for about a year. Therefore, can anybody suggest which two musclecraft, produced within the the last 2-3 years, would allow my brother and I to have the most fun?

I'm considering units from Yamaha, Sea Doo, and Kawasaki but I do kind of have a soft spot for RXP Sea Doos so I was thinking one of them could be a 2012-2013 RXP-X 260 or a 2008-2011 RXP-X.

    Thank You!

If money isn't an issue, just grab a 2013 RXP-X and a Yami FZR and be done !!! Simple !!!

+1 FZR all the way!! I'm a yami guy but that sea doo Rxp-x looks nice also.

If you wanna go a little cheaper the yami VXR/S series is the cheapest musclecraft ($11,000 new) but still gets up to around 68mph like the rest of em.

Thanks guys. Yea, I'm really thinking about one of them being a used FZR because I've never had a Yamaha before and have heard good things about them. What if I was looking for one musclecraft to be kinda nimble and sporty and then have the second be for days when the winds and chop are up? Would the FZR, or maybe an Ultra 300, be better for that? Or is the new Sea Doo supposed to be better in the chop than the 08-11 RXP-X models were?

I would do an Ultra 300 and then either the Sea Doo or a FZR for the second one if I was in your spot.

Almost always lakes, no rivers or oceans. In Texas the lakes can get a little choppy due to the high winds but nothing crazy. I think I'm 99% settled on one of the skis being a 2012 RXP X 260 but need a nice companion ski to go with it. I'm thinking either FZR, Ultra 300, or 2008-2011 RXP X 255 as the 2nd ski.

If the RXPX is already mostly decided then get the FZR for the 2nd, perfect combination.

Well also take into consideration that the RXP and FZR are 2 seaters while the Ultra 300x is a 3 seater. I've heard that the The Ultra 300x is good in choppy water but I mean they're all 1000 lb skis, they should all be pretty stable in the waves.

I would probably get the FZR and Ultra out of the 3 options, but if your set on the sea doo, I'd go with the FZR as your second, I dont care what kawi has 300hp nothin can beat the the yamaha powerhouse 1800cc sho engine in the FZR!
