    What'd I fckup?

    Hey yall.

A while back I put a new SS wear ring, 2* wedge, riva grate and my SC with new washers (ala GH)...into an '05 RXT.

It's been so friggn cold here since then I haven't had a chance to see/feel what change has been made....till today. I got offa work early and instead of chopping firewood I hitched up the skis and headed to the lake.

Straight away I could feel the difference at 3-4K (20-25mph)...the ski felt nimbler (is that a word?)...anyway...I slowly brought her to wot and...sht...7500rpm max and 60mph on the dreamo...wtf did I do wrong?

The speed gradually slowed...59...58...57...sht...I let off the throttle and pulled the seat...couldn't really see anything jumping out at me...turned her around and headed back to the ramp...57...56....dang....she didn't want to idle real well.

With what little info I could provide...do you guys have any idea on wtf I did wrong?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Did you check the pump, prop, underneath the ski?

I know it's kinda off the wall but could water have froze in your IC causeing a leak? Fogging oil burning off in the cylinders fouling the plugs?

Pull the SC, and check the slip moment on the clutches again. Did you use red locktite on the nut?

    Red Devil...yeah.

01xdime...that's possible...I'll have to go out to the garage now for a better look see.

RXP Steve...naw...sc sounds fine...GH put the washers in and I'm certainly not blaming him for any of this.

Slip on the SC is perfect!

Didn't want to idle real well? Any trouble codes?

Grate not hanging down in the back? (pulled the inserts out)

Check to make sure you don't have a boost leak on the SC to TB plumbing.

IF GH did it, I wouldnt worry about it then. Maybe it is the plugs, they probably fouled up. Did you fog it before storage?
Psycho is talking about the S/C nut that holds the S/C impeller.
