    What is the best prop?

    I am currently running a 14/19R with a Riva grate and am getting over 71 and 8100 rpms. I am going to add a powerfilter this year. Am I better to stick with the 14/19R or go to the skat 3 blade? Also, is it ok to run a 3 blade with a stock pump?

    I have been hearing that the 3 blade is the way to go. I think I will be stopping at the Stage 2. I just wonder what pitch you would use with a Stage 2. From what I understand the newer 3 blades have been improved and you can run in a stock pump(no bearing mod needed). Of course I could be wrong. Someone else may want to chime in.

    Stick with the 14/19, and repitch it if necessary. If you are still running stock SC and IC you won't be making enough power to turn the 15/19 3 blade. I think you need to be running S2 minimum to run the 15/19 3 blade.

    BoatAddict- How noticable was the change from stock to the 14/19R?

    It gave me 1.5 mph and a stronger holeshot.
    I thought that I read somewhere that someone was running 73+ with a stage 1 and a 3 blade?

    I've ran the schit out of the 14/19r & 13/18 3 blade, from the box & tweaked. On a strong stage 1 I've found you'll need a 13/18 skat straight from the box & if need be, tweak it to 13/17.5 for more R's on a stage 1. I like it much better over the 4 blade & even though it's almost 1 mph slower it makes up for it in accelleration & hook up!

    I've hit 73.0 on a stage 1 + a riva sc wheel & a PPG power pipe using the 13/18 skat.
    I'm a stage 2 now & got 75.3 last weekend with it repitched to 13/19.

    I was kinda wondering the same thing, i have a STG 1 with elminated resonator and BOV and i am going to be putting on a RR S/C Fan, Riva Reduction Nozzle, Riva rear Air Intake, Skegs, OPAS Block Offs, and RR Water Box. Should i also just stick with my 14/19R. Would i see a difference going to the 15/20 4 blade?

    since you're upgrading your s/c with more boost it will give you more rpms. these rpms will translate into top speed if you have the right prop. i suggest you get a 15/20. you might want to consider an intercooler too. if you're not looking to spend much more than you already are you could go the ebay i/c route for about $400. then your boat should even be able to handle a 15/19 3 blade.
