    Cylinder Head Cover Cracking

Pulled my engine cover to inspect/change spark plugs and noticed these hair line cracks on the cylinder head cover. A bunch by the #3 Ignition Coil bolt and more on the starboard side towards the front. Are these anything I should worry about or is this common? I have never removed the Ignition Coils before so no way I over-tightened anything. For now I'll just keep my eye on them to see if they get worse.

Hey Stunna, I noticed similar crazing on mine when I did the ribbon delete just recently (ski has only 9.5 hours). Didn't concern me too much as I have seen similar on other cast alloy covers, always hoping they are basically just surface or finish defects.

However, like you, I will be keeping an eye on them.

Mike , are you using stock plugs as replacements or upgrading?

Stock. They have ran flawless for 75 hours but figure after I burn off the fogging oil and what not a change can't hurt. What plugs would you upgrade to?
