Riding / Racing Positions
I have seen some pics of guys racing & noted they were sitting right back or even laying over the back of their skis, is this the fastest racing position?

it's refered to as the "superman" position. In extreemly smooth water, with no obstacles, it is the fastest position. However, if you hit a bump or the ski does anything bad, you will find yourself bouncing all over the place. This can be very dangerous. I can't overstate this enough. Folks have been hurt!
For bouy racing, you will see the racers keep a position that keeps them centered on the boat for maximum control in all conditions.
