    2rude boost numbers

Hello all, I know the theoretical numbers of the 2rude, but I'm wanting to hear the real world numbers people are seeing. I ask because I'm only seeing 13.3-13.5 at 8540. I know the slip on the charger is fine (15 ft lbs) and I don't have a boost leak. Do I just have a dud charger? Haha.

The ski still ran 77.2, which I know sounds slow, but this was with a full tank, sitting on the seat, 87mm nozzle and no pump wedge. I'm sure if I could be assed to pitch the prop for an 83mm nozzle and added a wedge I'd be at 80.

maybe do waterbox and move IC closer with solid pipes?

I'm sure I've read people claim their 2rude to make 14.5psi at the manifold.

Doing the water box will not make any difference to boost pressure . I could imagine the solid pipes might reduce parasitic losses a small amount, but I wouldn't think the difference would be significant.

    Horses for courses.

I'm sure I can make an xcharger show 12 psi @ 8100 with no intercooler...

    What IC are you using?

I am using the piranha parts intercooler, not sure who made the cores for them though. I've heard they are a good unit though...

You don't have a dud rude 2. If it was it would be shoved up in your flywheel

I am seeing right around 13.5 lbs of boost at 8200 rpm on mine..Your IC could be part of the issue as different cores have more or less restrictions...Also i would up your slip too...i set mine to about 18 ft lbs..I up mine, so when the charger heats up and the oil gets into the clutching system slip has a tendency to fall some..how much??i dont exactly know BUT i set mine higher to compensate for the slippage...

I saw a consistant 14.2 at 8550RPM;s on my 04RXP. It ran 82. This was in 90+ heat.
It had the Piranhas IC witch is now the FIzzle HE IC. SO you have a very good IC with not much drop in pressure.
Dont be so fast to say you dont have a boost leak as I have seen manifolds split and also hoses just not be on good enough.

I pressure tested my intake hoses/manifold to 16psi just the other day, it showed no sign of any leaks.
