    pump shoe protector install... quick question

    i installed SFR pump shoe protector on my 05 ski . Im using the Riva grate and a girdle as well.... where do i have to mod my grate so the grate will slip into the girdle? i know the riva grates are weak but i know its been done... thought id ask before i start hackin away..........

    God I hate riva grates they break like toothpicks and then to trim on them

    they break more for you salty boys....... i know guys up here running the same grate at 77 for years

    im runnin a riva grate how has yours held up kevin? And to others who dont like em what other grate would you recommend?

    ive run my riva grate now for 3 years over 76 mph.... no issues....


    others will recommend the R&D but it slows you down but better in the chop.... the Riva grate is the speed grate

    Mount it up take a scribe and mark how low it is hanging down and machine it down. I'm not evening running bolts into the pump shoe. Just the front bolt, one into the ride plate and the girdle bolts. That's how Erik told me to do it.

    but do i dremil those lips? or just start taking a bit off the rear tabs?
