    Thru Hull plastic piece removal

    Hey guys, soooo i have a cracked pump tunnel, near the front, where the driveshaft goes in to the hull, I have been told i need to fix the top AND the bottom of this to prevent a re-crack. has anyone delt with this before? its on an SLXH also think it woudl be best to remove the thru hull plastic piece, has anyone done this or know how to do this?

    for anyone else who does not know how to do this, tighten the hose clamp a tad, and turn, sucker just loosens....and they sell a 260 dollar tool to do this LOL
