    05 rxp starting issue

i just changed the oil in my 05 rxp and noticed a starting issue,. When you place the lanyard on and press start you hear the solenoid engage. i chacked it on the starter out side i get 12 volts. i ordered a service manual. The manual has sevral things to check. i am thinking maybe the brushes in the starter? It cranks if you kinda tap the switch a few times.

    Bad started soleinoid...
It's very common to break and easy to fix.
Every time I go to the dealership to get a starter solenoid they have over 40+ in stock.
It's @ $40 and its located on the board that your battery terminals run to.
    5 min change out...

If its not the starter relay then you do have a starter starting to go bad...
    My bet its the relay/solenoid...
