    Changing Oil Filter

I changed the oil but forgot to change the oil filter before i filled up with new oil, i'm wondering what happens if i change it now, will the oil start pouring or is the oil level sort of below the oil filter plug ?

you can change it now no problem, the oil that is in the filter will be lost.
