    Pump removal on stx15f

I want to pull the pump and check the bearings, was wondering if it is just the four bolts on the back and undo the hoses and it slides off? Is there any other bolts on the inside? Does the shaft slide out with the impeller or does the shaft stay in the machine? Any guidance would be helpful thanks.

To pull the pump you need to remove the reverse and steering linkages, the reverse linkage just clips on. Once you have the linkage off you can remove the reverse bucket. With that out of the way the rest can come off. The 2 hoses on top of the pump get pulled, then the 4 14mm bolts next to the hull can be removed. There are also 2 allen head bolts on the bottom of the rideplate in the center, these must be removed to pull the pump out. The driveshaft stays with the ski.

So once the pump is out , what maintenance is left for the pump shoe ? I just bought this thing it's an 08 with 47 hours on it but I want to make sure everything is right. It's from Wisconsin a nd only been ran in fresh water. Maybe I shouldn't even bother with pulling the pump, I just don't want problems between may and October .

    Yes, the shoe remains attached.
