    Its a very challenging horse race that's been run once per year in the UK since 1836. I personally don't watch it because its normal for at least one horse to get injured then shot on the course as its a very long course with extreme jumps which it to tiring for the horses. I cant see the point in pushing good animals to their death. The above link was done by a betting company for a bit of an advert I believe.

    That does sound brutal. I guess if there is enough money in it for the owner they are willing to sacrifice there animals. A lot different than just blowing a motor.

    There have been campaigns going on for years now to try and make it safer, and they finally made it safer this year. No horse's died which is good progress.
