Don't get lazy....
Just pulled apart a 2004 rxp motor that threw a rod through the block.
Wasn't until i split the cases that I found ceramic washer fragments!!!!
Don't get lazy. Pull the motor and thoroughly clean it out after a washer failure.
And if they haven't failed and you're still running them, change them now!!!!
I still see this issue come up, I think people, especially new guys, need to be reminded.

Bought the ski cheap for parts. Not sure on exactly when it happened or any details....

that.s after they sugar coat it in fairy dust while doing the jig with a one legged leprechan (sp) smoking a a bong with tommy chong
that.s a grenading if I've ever seen one.
here.s a thought..worst case....can a broken rod get egough length to puncture the hull?
