    Fzr or rxp

So I just sold my vxr today , and I was all set to put the cash down on a an fzr .
I started thinking about my friends can am 850 quad, it's like no other machine I've ever ridden (user friendly , nice clearance , smooth power band) ect... Excellent piece of machinery!
He got two used ski doos this winter , again compared to the yamahas I have been on, they are two different animals.
What are the pros and cons of the 13 rxp verses the fzr? I kinda just don't want to spend extra cash on the fzr to wake her up and make her safe ( manifold upgrade, ff exhaust, cold air intake , scoop grate,ect..)
    Opinions???

Hey both are kick ass machines but the rxp-x260 has the lighter engine than the yami fzs or fzr by a whole 100 pounds!!! As they say in the street racing the 350 engine(1.5 seadoo) is lighter than the 396-572 engine (1.8l yamis)

HEY oi812 IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU AND YOUR HOW DEEP IS YOUR WALLET I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GETTING THE RXP-X260 SINSE THAT HAS THE LIGHTER MOTOR COMPARE TO THE YAMAHA FZR-FZS

Rxpx is what I would get. However yammis are more reliable..I have driven both..seadoo is way better in handling and overall feeling..

If you were going to highly mod the ski I'd say the yammy as it's easier to get to make power being a bigger engine but the rxp handles awesome and overall much funner to ride, it's more nimble as it's lighter and accelerates harder.

    Couldn't go with another Yamadog
Just picked up a 13 rpx
Looks like a radical machine I think the yamadog designers /engineers have taken the last few years off , I'm tired of the out of the box dogs they produce

unsure why you even bothered making a thread when u had already made your mind up as you didn't even make a thread in the Yamaha section

Good luck with your new ski, looks like a nice ski

2 bilge pumps is a very smart ideal no matter what brand you own.as for carbon rings i think might be wrong about that.thanx richard.
