Help, I have a hole in my "heart!"

Well, my cousin came out of a donut maneuver too fast, too close to the rock enbankment, & well...she couldn't recover.

She hit the rocks and got tossed from the ski (very scary moment but was ok) Can't say the same for my darling, my baby, my heart! (see attatched photo)

Scratched up pretty good and with one intrusive hole about 6" in diameter bottom of the hull

Stupid question, but can i get away with a very nice bondo job? works for cars right?

No bondo it will get ripped off like paper machete. There is a couple guys in sunrise that can complete fix and gelcoat the complete bottom for around 500-600 bucks give or take

Bought a ski with a blown engine as part of an eBay deal last winter and ended up selling the hull to a guy a few hours away who had his wrecked in a strikingly similar story - loaned it to a friend who promptly went out at WOT and ran it into a rock shoal, destroying the hull. It was good reminder for me why my toys don't get shared - people are quick to have fun with your toys, but if something happens (accident, pop the engine, whatever) only a really GOOD friend will pay the bill after the fact.

I had to shoot down quite a few friends from the "Can I take it for a run?" question last year - thankfully with very tight boat operators licensing up here I was able to get off with "Sorry, you don't have your licence, can't let you drive it" with almost all of them.
