    2002 GTX 4-Tec opinions

Have a friend looking for a "new" ski and we found a nice ski at a local dealership it appears to be in OK condition but far from perfect. It is a 02 GTX with 110 hours. Dealer is asking 3200 wo trailer (but lots of used trailers on CL)

I have traditionally been a yamaha guy and was pushing him towards a FX or VX buy really it appears you get more ski with the GTX for less money...

What's your guys thoughts on this ski? What do we need to look for?

    Thanks!

Nothing within 400 miles of me for anything close to that price... Seattle area skis tend to be 15-30 percent higher than other places. It's frustrating as hell as the only thing on cl is year old skis for new retail prices and old high hour 2 strokes. To give you a s idea 2003/4 GPR's are listed at 4500+

What ever you buy make sure to ride it for 20+ minutes.
Let it warm up then nail it wfo...
These skis will show signs of trouble in 20+ min of riding if it has issues.
    Good luck in your search.

Even in cooler weather is that still the case?
