As far as I know there are no aftermarket options for the Genesis.

The Virage can benefit from an aftermarket Ocean Pro ride plate, if you can find one.

Intake grate I use on my Virage TXi is the R&D type. The R&D 750SL version is more agressive than the R&D 650. Also available is the Polaris OEM version of the R&D intake grate which has three bars, stock on the Pro models.

Any of these three are helpful in rough waters. We often ride Lake Ontario and other large lakes, and both machines have R&D grates.

There are many other intake grates around, one of the more extreme is the shovel shaped type from Jet Dynamics. Randy used to modify these for better match to some hulls, perhaps the Virage or MSX 140

The JD scoop is very aggressive and will maximize pump filling and rough water hook up but there will be a noticeable reduction in top speed, several mph if memory serves.

BryanP, I figured as much since I had terrible luck locating one on the net. I figured maybe you guys new of one that would work.

447, I looked at a Solas one that is the shovel type. Just trying to iron out which one would work without going overboard.

if your riding rough water go with a 750 grate and a 3 wedge on the virage.if you want something a little milder then just the 650 grate.the op plate is a better smooth water and turing plate on the virages, not better than the batwing in the rough stuff
