impeller removal tool
2010 RXTX 260
long or short version?
Short is $20
Long is $50
beyond the short vs long jokes...
is the long tool that much better? Make the impeller removal that much easier? Major advantage?
I won't be taking it out all the time, once I get it set right, I'll leave it and not planning any major mods due to budget.
I've taken the impeller off before on a different ski that uses a different tool but don't plan on doing it more than once or twice with my new ski.

Get the Long one, that way you can leave the nose cone in place. If you have installed the nose cone with red Loctite, you do not want to have to remove it and tear it up.
I learned this the hard way and have both. The short one is now a paper weight!
