    ultra 150 gouges in hull

    Can anybody give me some advice on what works to patch a hull gouge on a 2000 ultra.........
    It is just down to the fiberglass . I bought a gelcoat paste kit from west marine.. And now am wondering if it wl adhear due to the paint kawasaki uses..any experience would help

    I can't remember if the 150 hulls are painted or gel coated. Most of the Kawi hulls were painted.

    I've had a couple little dings in mine and just take it to a fiberglass shop. It usually costs $75-100 and it looks brand new.

    Do you know what kind of paint it is.....enamel, epoxy acrylic , or some other custom mix? Just bought it in march only need a quick fix for the summer then if it is what it is supposed to be I will get a custom pro paint job
