Nitroshark made a ECU kit awhile back...........heat gets to ecu and causes it to malfunction......have you ohm the knock sensor wire back to ecu plug from sensor?........

    The issue is corrosion.
Put some dielectric grease on the pins and connector when you put it back together.

    Go OEM.

You can measure the knock sensor but I don't think it is worth your time.
I would replace it for piece of mind. replace your plugs.
If that does not work, replace the harness.
As a last resort, replace the ecu.

The knock sensor sends a frequency (pulse signal) and believe the only way to check it is with a osyliscope (forgive my spelling) it should have a stationary impedance but will pulse or be interrupted as engine is running and if it has spark knock the pulse will change ...
Unfortunately a load will need to be applied to engine to build boost to see if it is seeing knock .

run a new wire from ecu plugs to knock sensor to rule out the harness
