pro 785 Intakes and VForce reeds (pics) Question?

I am putting on motomarine intakes and VForce II Reeds.
Was wondering if anyone had tippers or reed spacers? before I put the carbs back on?

Would reed spacers even help out to gain a little more power? I have heard they will I have heard of reed stuffers as well??? Not sure of exactly what that is??

Clarification between the two and if anyone had any lying around?
    thanks

Reed Spacer were only used on 1997 and some early 98 motors. Later 98-2000 motor cases have the size of the spacer built into the engine case. I have seen people make the mistake of running a 1997 motor case with reeds and no spacer and all they did was chew up the reeds. If you find a set of reed tipper made my Watcon then you will actually remove the VFORCE mounting plate and bolt the reed assembly to the tippers.

    Excellent answer Racer 166.
If you add the reed spacers to a 1998 & newer crankcase, you will reduce the accelleration, as you are adding crankcase volume..
But your reed petals would last longer... hahaha!

    Randy

Thanks again guys, would either of you have a plug for an oil injector block off? I have the plate and all the hardware. I just need the plug. Guess you could do it without, but I want to do it right.
