Oil separator cover
I have to replace the oil separator cover on my 2007 rxp. I assume I have to drain the oil to take the cover off? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Time to pull the motor you have some large metal pieces floating around in there.

You have lots of abrasive stuff in the oil; did you have a washer failure at some point? I would expect your bearings are toast as well. Time to pull the engine and rebuild.

The ski has 161 hours on it and the the previous owner had them do the 08 charger upgrade kit in it at 24 hours. I had the charger rebuilt by Jerry at 90 hours and have not had any issues. I can only imagine this may have been an issue with the original ceramics that probably exploded and the parts finally surfaced. FML
