Rear hooks (or lack of) on 2008 GTI

Friend picked up a almost new 2008 GTI today. It is the base model but his first ski and the deal was to good to pass up.

When we picked up the ski the first thing we noticed was no rear hook to strap it down?? There is one up above for pulling tubes but nothing for strapping it down below.

This ski looks new and he wants to keep it that way. Any way to adds the D hooks down below? Anyone have a part # or brand to buy?

    Thanks

Just hook it on the tow point and then to the trailer.

I think the hook points that are below the top deck in the rear of other skis has reinforced fiber glass to prevent issues.
I wouldn't just drill a hole and add a hook...

Ya hate to have straps laying against the fiberglass... We did that today for the 200 mile drive and the straps wore through red shop rags like butter.

I tie down to the one under the seat. I've drug mine 800 miles in a weekend before without any damage to the ski. If you have a step on the rear that is why there aren't any hooks.

No steps our hooks... We got marks on the black rub rails from the short drive yesterday so I would hate to see what a year or two of trailering would do.
