    2013 clutch any failures?

Getting ready to upgrade to the 2013 style clutch this week. Was curious if anyone has heard of any failures for this new clutch yet?

That's very similar to the set up I am planning to install. Hope the 2013 clutch turns out to be the cure for the clutch problems.

2013 is the newest Gen 3 correct? I was thinking the 11 and 12 model years had the last version that were shearing teeth? I have the 2012 model fzs and upgrading to the new 2013 clutch. Mine was an early model and doesn't have correct vin for new version.

my 12 clutch lasted only 33 hrs on stock FZR. Looked like a piece of eaten corn on the cob after a picnic, had to pull engine, clean, reassemble(warranty) then had Jim do mods.

There has not been any reported failures yet! That ought to tell you something.

I did have teeth strip on my 2nd gen. So far the 3rd gen has held up just fine.

If you can afford it just do it,because if you do mods and it fails dealer might not cover it? Also dont have worry about metal in engine, pulling engine, nicks and scratches, and down time in riding season
