    98 slxh 1050

Hey guys, soo I used my 98 SLXH e box to use in my 99 SLX, ( box that came with ski was not sure if it worked as ski sank) anyway so the plug boots, dont really click onto the plugs any more, does anyone know if this would be a resistor plug? or non resistor? im hoping non resistor so i can get some new boots.

    thanks guys

Did you read the manual? It should have the specs in there.

Edit: I just read the manual. They are resistor caps. The NGK resistor boots are the ones to use I believe.

I just copied this from the manual. Polaris part number 4020155 is the correct part.

Although all resistor spark plug caps that Polaris uses have 5000 ohms of resistance, they arrive at this resistance
value differently. The construction of the resistor within the PVL spark plug cap enables it to dampen spikes of
ignition current and therefore better control RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) than other resistor spark plug
    caps.
The creation of RFI can distrupt the the micro-processors within the CDI box and cause ignition misfiring. For
these reasons it is extremely important that Polaris Domestic Engines utilize the PVL spark plug caps and resistor
    spark plugs.

Nope. You need resistor boots. You could probably use the MSD ones on your SLX 1200 though.
