    et 137 +3 slip

    hey guys whats the max slip you would run on a et 137 +3 the instructions say 14-15 ftlb. I am at 190-192 inlb or 16 ftlb will this be okay or should i try an drop it some ?

    14-15 is where you should be. It also depends on rpm. Run and recheck after riding for a few hours or weekend

    riva washers have less than 10hrs i thought i would run it and recheck slip after 2hrs ?

    Never hurts to recheck I personally shoot for a happy in between 14-15 and recheck. That does not mean if you don't your wrong just what I would set it at.

    I cant seem to get 14 or 15 its either 13 or 16ftlb better question would be is it safe at 16ftlbs ? i have tried different combos on the spring washers and shims

    Have you tried to flip the the spring washers over and/or remove shims?

    IF you cant get it to 14/15 ft lbs you can sand down the collar some..Set the slip to 16 ft lbs,then start to sand the collar down till you reach 15 ft lbs...But like Shrabber Stated,try to flip the spring washers around first...
