    TCP Bleed off

Hi guys I was just wondering if you bleed of some air @ the TCP sensor wonít that give you an increase in boost? Iím just thinking the ecu will read less boost and thus not open the waste gate so quickly. I know the best way would be to go with the Macsboost module but Rand / Dollar exchange rate, the shipping to South Africa and there will be import taxes so that makes it very expensive right now.

Hi, send me an email, we can ship cheap via USPS. Maybe we can get it to you for a reasonable rate.

    Cheers!

    U have a pm .
Bleeding off air to map sensor isn't a good idea . if the ecu doesn't see the boost as the same that Ur engine sees the boost . Ur engine is lean . now u have people cheering in each corner about this issue . but doing boost mods ALONE makes engine run hoter . will burn exhaust manifolds out quicker eat turbos that r not healthy and put more heat on ecu . many have had these issues with their Hondas . not to say its directly related to the macboost or TCP lock/bleeder but it adds to the issues . Honda did a awesome job building the motor . but everything bolted to the motor is expensive to fix if it messes up . so if u do any mods make sure u richen up the fuel mix or add a additional fueling method . ..

Adding boost to the honda is like adding a shot of 100hp NOS to a a carburated engine that's already doing 500hp and not adding the extra fuel to keep it safe ...
    Rant over .

    Thanks Justin I agree.

Basically what you need is to get more fuel into the engine
    Bigger IC
    Fuel cut defender
    Manual boost controller
I think this ( http://www.dastek.co.za/about_the_unichip.htm ) will cover the extra fuel with an extra injector and this will also act as the fuel cut defender.

Also just to make sure you are not running lean a wideband o2 meter.

    That's a pretty cool "chip" .
A extra injector would be a great option . tho I would rather retune the fuel curve and keep the meth to have lower intake temps . together with these mods and supporting boost mods one could make a bullet proof setup .
I wonder if the unichip is moisture/water proof?
