No supercharger sound after Riva intake install

A little disapointed after a $200 for a riva power filter kit and a few hours of install time in my 06 RXP I noticed no sound difference!

I knew without some other components being changed I wouldn't see a power difference but figured there would be some whine from the charger at least. I ran it on a hose and it sounds the same as before the install.

Was I wrong to expect a sound difference or more sound from the charger?

If your not worried about water intrusion get a riva rear intake. Supercharger whine is almost too loud

any filter on an intake will suppress the charger sound big time. Even with the 4 inch fizzle kit on mine my ET137 was muffled by the dang filter. I took the filter off and replaced it with a velocity stack. You dont need a filter really. If i were you id sell the RIva and get some 4inch kana-flex and route that however you want. 4inch intake is the way to go and if i remember correctly the Riva is only a 3.

and screw a rear air intake even if you could make one work id stay away unless you ride flat waters or your definitely ingesting water.

That's not even close to being true. Previous owner road the ski since day one with riva rear air on Lake Michigan . Zero issues bro
