Fuel injector o-ring leak from the factory. Issues down the road? (09,FZR)
Hey guys so I bought an 09 FZR with 0 hours on it last summer. It has about 35 hours on it now and I sent it back to the dealer I got it from for a check up, winterizing and storage. I did notice throughout the summer it smelt like unburnt fuel, sometimes strong, sometimes I couldn't smell it. Anyways it was diagnosed as a leak fuel injector o-ring and repaired under warranty by the dealer over the winter time.
My question is does that mean that 1 cylinder has been running lean the whole time because the fuel was leaking out just before being sprayed into the cylinder? Potential damage maybe in the future? I spent a lot of money on the ski and I really want it to be my trouble-free toy.
Any advice is welcome, thank you in advance.

Like he said. Remember it was getting oil from the oil pump the whole time.

i had a leaky injector on mine at around the ten hour mark
it sometimes made it hard to start when it was hot
since then the ski has done over 150 hours with motec and boost mods
so if it was going to cause issues they would have showed by now
