    ratios

    been looking around but getting different opinions, got a 951 "white" setting up for premix what ratios is everyone running iv seen 40:1 and 50:1.. whats best? and if i remove the oil tank will a resistor need to be installed or anything to keep oil light off?

    You can choose to do your premix at 40:1 but your spark plugs will get fouled faster.I like to run mine at 50:1.for the oil ligth,jus need to jump both sensors wires one to each other.

    I mix 40:1 on my superstock 787 Hx and have never fouled a plug on a stock machine I would definitely run 40:1. You will get 100 plus hrs on a set of plugs

    I'd rather just do 40:1 and replace plugs more often and be able to sleep better at night.. Thxs guys!!

    If you remove the oil tank completely keep the sender plugged in, out of the way and zip tie the float in the "full" position.

    40:1 a water bottle of oil per 5 gal. gas.
