    Green Hulk Rear Intake Mod

I finally got off my ass and put the finnishing touches on this new rear vent air intake.

What i did was basically box in the air intake inlet in plexiglass to separate it from the hot air that is escaping the hull thru the rear vent.

It's built like a baffle in that the intake tube is higher than the base. That way if any water gets in it does not run right into the tube, but will slowly drain out of the tiny drain holes that i drilled.

When i rode my ski last weekend i noticed no change in performance over my front air intake. In fact, i may have lost 50 RPM's, or so. This was probably due to it sucking in hot engine air thru the vent. It should be interesting to see if it improves now that I have the baffle box built.

originally i just had it vented into the area where hot engine air escaped the compartment. I then built the baffle box to separate the escaping hot air from the cooler outside air. It made a noticeable difference. It sounds awsome too

I don't worry about water getting in it where i ride. I ride in flat calm water. This mod isn't for everyone, but works great for an all out drag ski in flat calm water
