Im back on the water on my 2012 FX SHO and Oil Change

I live in the northeast,I got lucky and my skies, car and house did not suffer any damage during Hurricane Sandy even though I live in the general area that was heavily devastated by that mega storm,a lot of trees fell nearby though,I keep my ski in the garage. Im back on the water on my 2012 FX SHO,the last time I rode in 2012 was on October 26 just three days before Hurricane Sandy,If not for the hurricane I whould of ridden in November too,I usually ride from April to mid November,I wear waterproof suit and boots except for summer riding. I already rode my ski twice this year on April 17 and 20 and now I have 33.5 hours on my ski and the last oil change I did at first maintenance at 12.6 hours,is it ok if I take my 2012 FX SHO for scheduled maintenance and oil change after it has 42 hours on it or after 30 hours of use after last oil change or it must be after 25 hours?

Oil changes aren't every 25 hrs.
The first change is @ 10 hrs then the stealership says every 100. I personally do mine every 40-50 hrs.
These modern oils are built to last a while.

My dealer told my to do my first change at 20 hrs and then once a season, that's on a 2013 fx ho, the manually says to do the first after 10 hrs tho

With those kind of hours, you need to stop worrying about your Yamaha and your oil and just get out there and enjoy it.

I changed first at 10 then at 50 and soon again at 100. Oil and filter each time. That's on the 1.8 HO engine. I'm going by hours riding. I do check it to make sure levels are correct though.

The manual for the 2012 SHO says oil every 50 hours or 12 months and oil filter every 100 hours or 12 months following the initial change at 10 hours, so you're doing it right.
