    gas tank cleaning

    I tried to get all the gas out season end. I sure there was some still left. Is it a major pain to pull tank out? I figure this is the only real way for me to knwo system is clean.

    Depending on the model ski most of the time you can drop the nose and pull the fill hose off the tank and use an electric fuel pump to get most of it out. If any is left and you think there may be water in it you could use a wire close hanger and rag to push around in the tank to try to get the rest. As far as pulling the tank most of the time it comes our through the engine compartment unless its one of the older model ski.

    Well It is a 99 XL 1200 and engine is already out. I will try the hanger, thanks
