anyone understand the vtech tuning maps?
looking at the new 260 rxpx's they run 34-36 at mid and 36-38 degrees up top
the e85 tunes for the same ski run 36 mid and 39 up top
now it gets confusing:
a rxp 255 runs 46 or 49 mid and 36 up top
a gtx 215 runs 41 mid and 29 up top
a 2007 rxp 215 or gtx 215 (listed again) run 41-42 and 26
a 2005 or 2006 rxp 215hp runs 29 midrange and 15 up top
So for a 260 rxpx why is the e85 tune so similar to the gas version for that ski?
why does a 255 rxpx get more timing that a 260 rxpx in midrange?
also looking at the externally intercooled skis, why so much difference between each ski? i thought 04-07 were the same?

Not sure the numbers translate from Siemens to Bosch ECUs

is the target max boost the same for both 260 maps
39* @ 25psi is not the same as 38* @ 12 psi
also a turbo map will have much more boost in the mid (same as wot) than a SC

Doesnt say what the target boost is but basically all the 260 maps are like that

I have seen that at mid rpms around 7000+- is where you can get the most knock ( biggest load )

That wouldnt explain the difference between the 260 and 255's curves...
Also why is the e85 curve basically the same
Also why does an 05/06 rxp get a different tune from an 07 rxp?
