    Question Truck Bed Boat Launch?

Has anyone done this? If so, do you have any photos of your project? I've narrowed it down to either a dolly with wheels that rolls out of the truck bed and down a ramp.. or a PVC ramp that the ski slides up and down on. I have a winch in the truck bed already for the power aspect and a truck bed ramp that I use to load and unload motorcycles and quads. I have since sold those toys and now would like to modify that set up specifically for my skis. Any help on this project would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an example of the "dolly launch"

Here is an example of the "PVC ramp launch"

These are the examples ive found but would like to get as much advice on this project before building anything. Thank so much.

Ive been looking around for one but here in Washington because water recreation is so popular, trailers are 500$ plus for "cheap" ones. Trying to find a cheaper alternative. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Ya in like 3 hours. And the sad part it was a cheap bolt together trailer.

There was a truck mount in Moses lake on Craigslist cheap.

I think that the weight of the skis in the you tubes are a lot different than the current stable of skis. It could work thouugh just make things more heavy duty. The pvc ramp would work maybe add rollers for the slanted part that way the winch desnt have to work as hard to pupp it up. I ]also think if the winch was higher up in the bed so the angle of pull is not so much would be better.
    best of luck

Seee its like hide and go seek with cheap trailers haha. Also this is for an old 1995 one person sit down ski and its weighted pretty evenly. Im more inclined to try and build a dolly because it would be multipurpose. This would be perfect for my application but I have no idea if its homemade or built by a company? Anyone built there own beach dolly? ---> http://www.pwcforum.com/attachments/...a-imag0066.jpg

That looks homemade to me. Are you trying to get 1 or 2 skis in the back?
