Installed my intake/exhaust mods this weekend

What a pain in the ass that manifold is, I have so many cuts on my hands and arms it looks like I got in a fight with a bag of cats. Never want to remove that damn thing ever again. On the other hand it sounds like a F'n beast on the hose now with the FF and the BoV, maybe someday the snow will melt up here and I'll get to run it on the lake

Things I learned, buy a set of gear ratchet wrenches, so much easier to get in to some of those tight spaces that you can't see. Also make sure you have a telescoping magnet and claw and a mirror on a stick in case a screw or washer drops under the engine (not that I did that or anything ). I wouldn't recommend the R&D FF exhaust with the Riva water box, it's a pain in the ass to get them to fit together correctly, you must fit the R&D tube into the cut stock rubber exit hose before attaching it back to the stock exit hole and you must put the silicone coupler on the water box before fitting the R&D tube to the water box. Then it's spray Windex, wiggle, push and pray . Tapping the manifold was a piece of cake, used a 11/32 Bosch titanium drill bit and it chewed through the side of the manifold like a hot knife through butter. Took all me all weekend by myself but Im sure I could do it in half the time if I did it again, my only screw up was dropping a fuel rail bolt (which happens to not be magnetic ) at 5:55pm on Sunday... thankfully Ace is about a mile away and they close at 6pm!

Thanks, probably won't unless I get a wheel/flash. I pretty much modded everything I possibly can without voiding the warranty until it expires but I doubt I can hold off for all 5 years for the wheel/flash... I'm just going to enjoy it as is now this year though once the lakes change from solid back to liquid lol.

Free flow pipe on a Riva waterbox? I hope you plan on wearing ear plugs. I think the drone will be deafening. Post a sound clip when you get a chance. Thanks!

It better be for as much work as it was to get it put together... . Like I said, sounds like a beast on the hose, hopefully sounds as good or better in the water!

It'll sound good. But wait till its under load..... You'll learn what rpm to stay away from.
