Hey guys i have a 99 GP1200 with 16.5 was planning on rebuilding carbs not a big fan of Carbs But can fix everything else. Okay So i purchased the ski this way it had all Riva Yamaha upgrades for handling and some after market air filters with oil pump eliminated basically if i have that set-up what jet's do you all recommend running if you've had experience with these on your ski or someone else's let me know what you usually have to run as far as jetting... PLEASE IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO SAY LEAVE IT OUTSIDE OF MY POST THX.

Lots of good info here: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...hlight=smlaker You can also check out some of my past posts regarding carb rebuilds but the best source is to search the forum for posts by user Osidebill.

Just did mine in the past month, here's my setup:
135 mains, 100 pilots, 1.5 n/s with 115 gram springs. Buy the genuine mikuni kits, not knockoffs. They are easy as hell to work on. The only pain was getting the old gasket material off.

Here's a link to the masters recommendations. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=70129
I followed the 120/110/1.5/95g. Removed the stock air box on my GP1200R, installed RIVA f/a and water socks, and disabled the accelerator pump, left chokes in tact. Already had the RIVA D-Plate. Had steady 48psi pop-off pressure on each carb. Runs Grrreat! Plugs are nice golden color and she's jumpin when the mains kick in. Top speed with stock ride plate and impeller 58-60 on stock speedo. I suspect it's faster but need to GPS it or have a faster ski pace me.

I have no experience with a 135 main but....seems a little large. If Cutlass gives it a 1+, who am I to argue

SMLaker, you are talking about a completely different ski...lol! We are talking about a 99 GP1200 non-powervalve engine. You are talking about a GPR1200 powervalve engine.

Oops, don't let my eagerness to help lead you astray. I'll shut up now.
