    RXP-X Slipping?

A friend's P-X 260 is topping out at 7600 RPM and throttle feels sluggish. I assume this is a sign that the SC is slipping and probably needs rebuilt early. I doubt the SC has blown or I think it would be lower around 6000 top RPM. Have to ask though, I've never experienced any slip on my skis.

    How many hrs?
I always can tell mine are slipping when I would cruise at around 6000 rpm for an extended period, then punch it and the ski would act like it was hesitating then take off. The max rpms also would slowly come down.
Any work done on it lately?

Was the slip ever reset after break in?
I know SD says no rebuild for 200hrs now, but 100 is more realistic.

I was shocked at how low my charger slip was after just a few hours. If that 84 hour charger has never been checked.... I promise you it's to low. You could buy some time by pulling it, and re-setting the slip. However..... it's about ready for a re-build anyway.

Yes. Same here. Mine started around 18 hrs. Reset and good since, but I only have 73 hrs.
