Lost 300 RPM's and 1 LB. of boost after install of a few items and can't figure it ou

Now I need help... after the install of the torq plate, x tender, and the pump wedge... I lost about 300 RPM's and 1 lb of boost ??? Not sure why... checked oil level
We changed plugs, re checked all hoses... Can't figure out what is going on... Any ideas... It does have some gas (and stable) that was stored about 4 months... but I topped it off with fresh gas (about 5 gallons) before I put it in the water.. We also are running the stock 42 injectors to test...

    Need help!

I think, I can feel it riding higher (more bow in the air...) Tron put it in, so I think it is correct... Would that cause lower RPM's ??? I don't think that is it...

+1, I was thinking the same thing when reading the post. Be sure everything seated properly (shaft) and be sure the large o-ring seal is in place.

We tested after everything we thought it could be... (literally 4 times in 41 degree water...)
See my sig for mods... only thing is we are running 42 lb injectors...

We never moved anything from putting it away last year... Would the shaft move from putting a wedge in???

I have seen people install the pump incorrectly causing the shaft to push forward on the engine. This will kill your thrust bearings quick. I dont think the 42s would hurt performance, rather it would likely put your AFRs in line where they should be with your mods.

My bad I was thinking you pulled the pump, not needed for installing a wedge.
