    2006 gp1300 rpm

Hi guys , i am asking what sort of rpm at WOT should i be getting on my ski . It has 145 145 138 psi , riva efi controller , riva flame hi flow air cleaner , riva ride plate and tabs , d plate and a skat 14/21 . I put a tini tach on the other day and took it for a blast in the ocean ( no rivers where i am ) the best i could get was 6200 rpm . I think the prop might be a bit steep so was thinking of trying a 87mm nozzle i have . What are your views as to RPM and nozzle change or should i just get the prop repitched ? Thanks

7100 to 7300 rpm is ideal

Hello Zacc300, great to hear about your ride. I have similar mods ( No Controler yet). But my two rides GPS @ 64.9 & 66.6 with full fuel tank & using the Dyna Fly 14/20 I thought it was just about right @ 6800 RPMs but that's on the MFD .... no aftermarket tac yet. I will have to see what actual RPMs really are. So far everything WFO has advised in the past has been right on ... if 7100-7300 is the goal ... want to get there.

yup. a nozzle change will add 100-150 rpm not the 1000 your after.

Do you have the stock prop to try? if not I have one I could send.

Yeh compression is all good , top speed is 100klm hour ( GPS) , take into account that i am in the ocean and it it is super hard to keep it hooked up because a lot of the time the conditions are not great swell chop etc . ould it be starving for air ? When i flush the ski after a ride I will blip the throttle 3 times to get water out of exhaust , when i do this i can see the vinyl on my seat get sucked down a bit .

My friends '06 GPR is running 7050rpm with a 14/20 prop and 85mm nozzle,
is he getting the maximum performance out of it?

Will a nozzle change to 87mm give more speed? Than it should run 7150rpm i guess
