Question Repaired nose of waverunner need to paint front end need advice please. Pics?

I purchased two 2003 1300R wave runners that were towed behind a houseboat and received some damage on the nose. I had them repaired now I need to re paint and really don't want to paint the whole Ski, which would mean removing all decals, which is a PITA. So I want to paint the nose in a way that looks cool. I will do the masking myself and a buddy that paints boats will shoot it for me. If anybody has any cool cover up pics or advice please advise.

I stated to mask off the front by just following the natural lines but I don't want both skis to look the same, both noses were repaired. I can not match 10 year old paint.

The guy in this thread just repainted the nose of his XLT. He is super anal (self described) about his ski and was able to come up with a solution for a light tape line and transition between the new paint and old paint. Its not exactly what you're looking for but it might give you some ideas.
